Online Orders / Curbside Pickup

You can place online orders via email.  Check the Tips on Creating an Order below for information on how to order, as my website is not an eCommerce site.  You can also phone me if you find ordering through an email too difficult.

Once an order is placed and I have it all ready to go, I will send you an invoice with payment and pick up instructions. 

Mail Orders

I am not a mail order business, and therefore do not have an account with any shipping service.  For mail orders, I use Canada Post Flat Rate boxes.  The prices range based on the size of the box, and includes tracking, up to $100 liability coverage, and guaranteed delivery anywhere in Canada.

Appointments

Appointments for 1 - 4 people can be made for in-store shopping.  Larger groups by special request.

Monday thru Friday - 11:00 and 1:00 time slots

• Saturdays - 11:00 (by special request)
• Sundays and Holidays - closed

It is highly preferred that you email me rather than phone. This way, we can have an ongoing communication that I can refer back to. I generally respond to all emails within a day.

Tips on Creating an Order

My site is best viewed on a laptop or tablet. If you view from a mobile phone you may not see the entire site, such as the links on the left and right, and if you do it will be so crammed that it will be difficult to navigate.

SHOP

Select a link from my site under the SHOP header on the left, such as "Fabrics",  or "Notions".

Using the example of "Fabrics", you will be taken to a page where you can select a search for fabrics by price, colour, or theme, etc. Select an option.

A new tab will open which is my Flickr photo-sharing site. Here you will see images of the fabrics matching your search. 

On the top there are view options. Click on each one to see how you can refine your search. 'Standard View' is my favourite view, that allows you to see images of all the fabrics in that album plus part of the fabric name. The fabrics will be in alphabetical order. If you hover over an image, close to the bottom of the image, you will see the full fabric name.

ORDER

When you see a fabric you would like, click on it to see a bigger picture. Scroll down and you will see the fabric name and that name is what you need to send me if you are interested in purchasing it. Copy and paste the full name into an email and send it to me along with how much of it you want. Then use the browser's back button to go back to fabric images.

To get back to the main Fabrics page, close the Flickr tab.

Once you have finished making all your selections, send the email to me. I will then confirm your order, get it ready and send you an invoice. Payment and pickup instructions are in the invoice.
