ALL PURPOSE ZIPPERS

Size 3 Nylon Coil zippers are considered the 'all purpose zipper'. This is probably the size found at most fabric stores. Use in pillows, duvet covers, small puches, handbags made of lightweight fabrics, and interior handbag pockets. This size can take rough handling, hot water laundering, and is strong, yet supple.

Size 3 zippers have teeth that are 3mm wide, and almost always have tape that is 1" wide.

Size 3 Zippers By The Yard
Zippers by the yard are cut to order and can be ordered in 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 yard increments or as running yardage. Pulls are sold separately.

Size 3 Closed End Zippers

Size 3 closed end zippers have a stop at the bottom, open at the top and come with a matching standard pull attached. They are great for any project, and can easily be cut down to fit a smaller project.

Size 3 Extra Long 54" Zippers

Size 3 closed end long zippers are between 54" and 60" long and can be used in many applications including duvets, home dec, garment bags, etc.

Cost: $2 Per Zipper and comes with 1 standard pull attached. 

Additional pulls are available (see below) and I will put these on the zipper for you if you like. Therefore you can cut this zipper into pieces of whatever lengths you need.  That's 4 zippers for $3 when you buy 3 pulls!

Size 3 Zipper Pulls

Standard zipper pulls are as shown in the picture. Most often matching enamel pulls are used, or you can substitute a different colour or a fancy pull.

I have a large supply of colourful Size 3 zipper pulls. They are great to add onto long lengths of zippers (such as the duvet zippers, or the continuous coil zipper tape, or even closed end zipperss that have been cut down. Available in black, white, or request a specific colour and I'll see what I can do.

Cost: 35 cents each

Fancy metal pulls for size 3 zippers are also available and will add a touch of class to your project!
