Fusible Webs

Fusible Webs are designed to bond two layers of fabric together, and are frequently used in
applique projects. Typically, this is done by bonding (heating) the fusible web to one layer of
fabric, cutting out an applique shape, then “fusing” or bonding this layer of fabric (the applique)
to a second base layer (the background fabric). The bond is made because the heat sensitive glue
or web melts between the two layers of fabric.

Soft Fuse Premium web is a paper-backed fusible web for machine or hand applique. Soft Fuse Premium is so soft that needles, both hand and machine, just glide right through. Draw on paper side, roughly cut out shapes, fuse to applique fabric, closely cut out drawn shapes, then remove paper and position pieces in order and fuse onto background fabric. Finish edges with your favorite stitch.
